Electro/Magneto-Rheological Fluids(E/MRF in short) stem from the anno-sized ferrous fluids. Its apparent viscosity changes from that of the general fluids to that of semi-solids under the application of an electro-magnetic field, vice versa. Consequently its apparent viscosity could be modulated and controlled using the external applied electro-magnetic field on-line quickly. Our smart fluids, weblized E/MRF is stable, i.e. which shows the weblized micro-structure in static and flowing state under normal shearing.
