Wuhan Pangu Damper Technology Co. Ltd. focuses mainly on Electro/Magneto-Rheological Fluid Smart Active Dampers, which is mainly sponsored by Dr. Chongyao Lu, three professors and Post-doctors. Twenty three patens have been applied. Magnetorheological Fluids provide the revolutionary changes in the Mechanical Engineering. The special characteristics are the change from liquid to semi-solid within 20 ms under the application of the external magnetic field, the continouse control of flow rate and presssure of magnetorheological fluid with spool-less valve and continouse modulation of power transmission with the passive disc and the active disc seperated. Magnetorheological dampers could be widely applied in active or semi-active suspension systems, active anti-rolling device, driver's seat isolation and the architechture isolation from the seismic waves. Other application could be the magnetorheological viscous coupling and magnetorheological brakers in the mechanical power transmission line. Consequently Magnetorheological device provides the engineers with convenience in controlling the machinery by microelectronics. |
