Magneto-rheological Fluid Smart Active Dampers (Hydro-Pneumatic Springs) used for ZLH50G high speed wheel-loader(now renamed as CLG858)

 

 

 

   PG-I-GCJX-aXbXc Magneto-rheological Smart Active Dampers (Hydro-Pneumatic Springs) are applied at the first time in ZLH50G high speed wheel-loader(now renamed as CLG858), made by Liugong Corp., who is the leading Corp. in manufacturing wheel-loaders. The Magneto-rheological Smart Active Damper (Hydro-Pneumatic Spring) consists of Magneto-rheological Smart Fluid, a damper, a sensor and a controller. The application of the dampers not only play an important part in taking as passive Hydro-Pneumatic Springs, but also taking as an active suspension system and soft-locking by the Magneto-rheological Smart Fluid when loading and moving.

Field Test Results for the Suspension of CLG858 High-Speed Wheel-Loaders:



On-line Lateral Acceleration Response under the Driver’s Seat, When a Sharp Turning Takes Place, both in the Time Domain and in the Frequency Domain. Application of the Gas-Filled Magnetorheological Fluid Dampers resulted in the satisfactory control of the High-Speed Wheel-Loader without reducing its stability, even the lateral acceleration under the driver’s seat reaching to 7.5g。





The Transfer Function and the phase diagram of the Suspension of CLG858 High-Speed Wheel-Loader under the On-line Road Excitation .Note: The resonance frequency of the suspension is about 1Hz. The peak around 43Hz is the reversed transfer function of the suspension due to the engine excitation to the suspension.
